On September 22, 2016 the Rhode Island Division of Public Utilities granted Rhode Island Fast Ferry a license  to operate a new fast ferry service from Quonset Point, North Kingstown to Block Island. We are now in the planning process to build a new ferry dock in Old Harbor that will benefit the the visitors, residents and local businesses of Block Island.
